Federal Government plans compulsory COVID-19 vaccination.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha says that the federal government will soon make COVID-19 vaccination mandatory for civil servants.

Mustapha who disclosed this during a meeting of the Health Commissioners Forum on Thursday in Abuja said the move is sequential due to the insufficiency of the vaccine in the country.

He explained that the government wants civil servants to be vaccinated, as they represent Nigeria abroad.

The SGF noted that some countries have banned unvaccinated person which is one of the reasons civil servants should embrace the covid-19 vaccination.
